We are always on the hunt for the perfect granola. It has to be crunchy and crispy, with just the right amount of toasted nuts and dried fruit. It should be a little sweet, but not overly so, and should have a little bit of a salty note as well. There should be just the slightest hints of cinnamon and ginger- enough to complement the rest of the ingredients without overpowering them. After years of tinkering, this is our definitive favorite. It is sweetened with our essential organic *extra* dark brown sugar (for more on that, click here) and a bit of organic raw honey. It is watched lovingly as it bakes, getting pulled out and stirred every ten minutes until it is browned to perfection. Enjoy it with milk, yogurt, or straight out the bag as a snack.
